Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive HSE policies and procedures in line with local and international standards.
  • Lead and manage a team of HSE professionals in providing guidance and support to project teams.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable health, safety, and environmental regulations across projects.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and areas for improvement.
  • Oversee incident investigations and the implementation of corrective actions.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with regulatory authorities and stakeholders.
  • Provide HSE training and develop awareness programs for employees.
  • Monitor and report on HSE performance and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 20 years of experience in a similar HSE leadership role, preferably in the construction or civil engineering industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations and best practices.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing HSE strategies, policies, and programs and delivering exceptional standards on a large-scale Construction Giga Program
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Professional certifications in Occupational Health and Safety (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) are preferred.
  • Experience in managing a team and working collaboratively across different departments.
