Lead Structural Engineer (Airport Projects)

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the structural design and delivery of major airport and aviation infrastructure projects across all project stages.
- Provide technical leadership for the design of airport terminals, concourses, support facilities, landside and airside structures.
- Manage multidisciplinary design coordination and interface with internal and external stakeholders.
- Oversee the preparation and review of structural calculations, reports, specifications, and design documentation.
- Ensure compliance with project requirements, relevant codes, international standards, and quality management procedures.
- Support project planning, resource allocation, and programme delivery to achieve project objectives.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior and intermediate structural engineers.
- Participate in design reviews, value engineering exercises, and technical workshops.
- Work closely with project directors and discipline leaders to ensure successful project delivery.
- Support the preparation of technical proposals, bids, and client presentations where required.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. Master's degree preferred.
- 15+ years of structural engineering experience, with significant involvement in airport and aviation infrastructure projects.
- Proven experience in the design and delivery of airport terminals, aviation facilities, and associated infrastructure projects.
- Demonstrated experience leading structural engineering teams on large multidisciplinary projects.
- Strong knowledge of international structural design codes and standards.
- Experience working within a leading engineering consultancy environment.
- Chartered Engineer status or equivalent professional accreditation would be advantageous.
- Middle East project experience would be beneficial.
