About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Specialist Radiologist to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services across a wide range of medical specialties at a leading government hospital in Umm Al Quwain, UAE. The successful candidate will interpret complex imaging studies, perform image-guided procedures where appropriate, and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary clinical teams to ensure accurate diagnosis and optimal patient management.Key ResponsibilitiesInterpret and report a broad range of diagnostic imaging examinations, including X-ray, Ultrasound, CT, MRI, Mammography, Fluoroscopy, and Doppler UltrasoundPerform and supervise image-guided diagnostic and minimally invasive procedures where credentialedProvide timely and accurate radiology reports in accordance with international reporting standardsCollaborate with physicians across multiple specialties to support clinical diagnosis and treatment planningParticipate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide expert radiological consultationEnsure adherence to radiation safety protocols and quality assurance standardsMaintain high standards of image quality while optimizing patient safetySupervise radiographers, residents, and junior medical staff where applicableParticipate in departmental quality improvement initiatives and clinical auditsMaintain accurate electronic medical records and radiology documentationSupport emergency imaging services and on-call duties as requiredParticipate in Continuing Medical Education (CME), research, and departmental teaching activitiesEnsure compliance with UAE healthcare regulations, hospital policies, and international accreditation standardsQualifications & RequirementsWestern-qualified Medical Degree (MBBS/MD or equivalent)Board Certification/Specialization in Diagnostic Radiology (FRCR, American Board, CCT, or equivalent)Minimum 5+ years of post-specialization experience as a Specialist/Consultant RadiologistValid UAE medical license or Eligibility Letter (DHA/DOH/MOH) preferredExcellent clinical expertise and strong analytical skillsCommitment to patient-centered care using the latest diagnostic imaging technologiesBenefitsCompetitive tax-free salary packageComprehensive health insurance coverageAnnual paid leave entitlementAnnual air ticket allowance as per company policyEnd-of-service benefits according to UAE Labour LawProfessional development and continuing medical education opportunitiesOpportunity to work with a specialized rehabilitation and trauma care teamAccess to advanced rehabilitation facilities and multidisciplinary healthcare services
