Heavy Vehicle Driver cum Mechanic: Key Responsibilities
- Operate heavy vehicles safely and efficiently, adhering to traffic laws and company policies.
- Conduct thorough pre- and post-trip inspections to identify potential issues.
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on engines, brakes, transmissions, and hydraulics.
- Diagnose mechanical problems accurately and efficiently.
- Coordinate with external workshops for major repairs and servicing.
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
- Ensure vehicles meet all regulatory and safety standards.
- Promptly report accidents or breakdowns to management.
