About the Role
Wood is recruiting for a Liquid Hydrogen Expert to join its Projects team focusing on delivering across FEED and Detail design scopes of work. In this role, you will be responsible to execute the activities and processes associated with Business Development of a Liquid Hydrogen opportunity, under Business Development scope. The expert shall possess excellent creative engineering and commercial skills, project and stakeholder management with strong leadership qualities, and with knowledge and experience in liquefaction and storage of cryogenic gases (such as LNG and Hydrogen) and conversion technologies with abilities to oversee the development.

Key Responsibilities
- Execute business development activities for liquid hydrogen opportunities
- Lead and deliver FEED and Detail Design scopes of work
- Provide expert engineering input on liquefaction and storage of cryogenic gases (LNG and Hydrogen)
- Oversee development of conversion technology solutions
- Manage project execution, schedules, budgets, and deliverables
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, partners, and clients
- Mentor and lead multidisciplinary engineering teams
- Support commercial proposals, tenders, and client presentations
- Ensure technical compliance with international codes, standards, and HSE requirements
- Contribute to Wood's energy transition and lower-carbon strategy
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemical, Process, or Mechanical Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 15+ years of experience in cryogenic gas liquefaction and storage
- Strong track record in FEED and Detail Design project execution
- Demonstrated business development and commercial acumen
- Excellent stakeholder and project management capabilities
- Strong leadership and creative engineering skills
