Job Overview
As an entry level Trainee of Imaging Geophysicist, you will be trained to do the following:
- Understand the basics of the seismic processing flow and build strong background.
- Learn to build 3D subsurface images using basic mathematical and physics concepts (e.g., inversion algorithms, wave equations, signal processing).
- Use technical knowledge to solve simple geophysical issues, learn imaging techniques, and manage time effectively.
- Apply geoscience principles, to do testing and focusing finding the optimum results under TL supervision.
- Handle specific tasks in imaging projects with guidance.
- Manage to use different software’s’ to support the processing work, tests and QCs.
- Perform quality control checks and report issues to Team/Project Leaders.
- Set up, run, and monitor processing tasks.
- Gain practical experience to prepare for the Final Year Project, ideal for students who haven't completed their FYP.
- Do E-Learning trainings and attend the classes scheduled.
- Attend and coordinate client meetings and present the results of the tests done.

- Undergraduate BSc in Geosciences.
